III. CDBG PROGRAM OVERVIEW
A. Funding Categories – The Village can apply for CDBG funding in one of these
four categories:
1. Housing
2. Neighborhood Revitalization

B. Funding Availability:
1. Approximately $22 million in Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2025 funding is
available across all four program categories.
2. Funding request maximum thresholds have been waiver for this
current application cycle, though FloridaCommerce has suggested
funding request caps of no more than $3,000,000.
C. Project Requirements & Uses for Funding
1. Project Requirements: To be eligible for funding, an activity must
meet at least one of the following National Objectives:
a) Benefit to Low-and Moderate-Income Persons - at least 51% of
