is absent. Andy Neal? Present. I'm here. Betsy Satcher? She said she was coming. We'll see. Mary Schoenheider? Here. Jim Teston? Here. And I'm called Karen, right? Yeah. Okay. We are here. Most of us. And Peter Zubek, our arborist, is here also. So our first order of business is to approve the minutes of the June 4th, 2026 meeting. And of course, those are all posted on the city's website. And you can always check that. If you get the whole agenda packet, then you can see the agenda and the minutes from the last meeting. You sent those. I did send those. But it's the same packet. Yes. So are there any corrections or additions on those minutes? Hearing none, I'll take a motion to approve. I'd like to approve those minutes. Andy? He wasn't here last week. So who else would like to approve? Good job. All right. Jim Teston? Mary seconded. All in favor? Aye. Opposed? Okay. That's, we're done. Okay. There are, are there citizens to be heard on agenda items? We are going to go right to the arborist report. And I had washed some things out early on. And Pete, however you want to address those things or whatever you want to say, we're anxious to hear. So we're not much of an update besides thanking the arborist crews for cleaning up all the stone damage and all the trees that blew down and all the hangers. So very grateful for that. They did a really good job. And we're just trying to catch up on a lot more work that we kind of fell behind on. But other than that, I'm just looking for …

We have a first and a second. All in favor? Aye. Okay agenda item. Award a contract for the 2026-2027 July Fire Department medical and fitness evaluations RFP to the Rock Valley Health for $290, 376. Chief? Yeah, this is the same company we use now. It's a two-year contract with we can add on additional years. It went out to RFP this year. They were the middle bidder. The reason the lowest bidder we didn't go with, they wouldn't be able to meet our, or they were out of state, and we couldn't find anyone around here that used them. They were from, which were they? They were from Pennsylvania. And the other one, when he reached out to them, they were just a start-up. They didn't have the doctor, enough doctors and that to handle our volume. So that's why we stayed with the company we had. They were the middle of the road. No more MedWorks. No. No more. Because I don't work there anymore. They didn't even bid this year. Yeah, we went there forever. That was fun. Oh, let me take your blood pressure. Okay, that's in the budget, right? Yes. Okay. We're just doing the contract. Yeah, so it'll be for …

Welcome everybody to the City of Joliet Public Assets Committee Meeting. Here in the Executive Conference Room. Today is Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 4 o'clock. Can we have a roll call, please? Councilman Clement? Here. Councilman Moreno? Here. And Councilwoman Ibarra is going to be absent. Yes, she's let us know that she just brought her dad home from a procedure from the hospital there, so she will not be making it. Okay, approval of the minutes. Did everybody have a chance to review the minutes from May, right? May, yeah. Yeah, 27, 2026, the Public Assets Minutes. Everybody have a chance to review those? Motion to approve. Yep, we have a motion in the second. All in favor? Aye. Citizens to be heard on agenda items. I do not see any citizens here on any agenda items, so we 'll move on to agenda items. Blaine Klein. Yeah, Blaine Klein, Facilities Director for the City of Jol iet. First item is seeking a recommendation to approve the purchase of a Caterpillar generator for the Public Works C edarwood facility to Altorfer power systems in the amount of $163,379.84. Most recently, one of the storms, I believe, in June did knock out power to that area, so it is critical for that facility to have backup power so that they can serve in any situation, but especially when an emergency does pop up in the city. So this was put out via, the pricing is v …
