. Shepard explained that NCRD was interested in a pilot Summer Camp Program for up to 20
children ages 6-12 in Rockaway Beach. The Budget Committee amended the proposed budget to
appropriate funds for the program, and agreement with NCRD was being finalized.

6-August 21 at the Neah-Kah-Nie Middle School. Smith and Angie Terry, NCRD Youth Director,
answered clarifying questions.

a. Presentation - Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Financial Audit - Peter Gelser, Koontz, Blasquez &
Associates, P.C.
. Gelser stated it was the cleanest audit since he started doing the city's audits and there were no
concerns.
. Net position up by $2 million dollars. Sewer fund only fund that had drop in net position.
. Only issue, shared by most small and medium-sized cities, is that the auditor is writing the
report.
