Council to consider sewer truck purchase, CDBG hearing, annexation
The Rockville Mayor and Council will hold a public hearing on FY 2028 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding, consider adopting the Shady Grove Metro Annexation Plan petition, and introduce an ordinance to replace City Code Chapter 21 on streets and rights-of-way. Um, the comment I wanted to make is that our, uh, Cynthia Walters, who s one Walters is who s one of the city attorneys and has been the attorney for the hcc for quite some time, has, uh, reassigned to a few other duties. Apparently, she has become very important. Um, and we are we have a new city attorney, Nick Dumais, who we appreciate his efforts, but I just wanted to thank MISS Walters for all of the work and the support that she s given to the hdc. And I know that we will certainly lean on her for any issues in the future. And I really want to welcome Nick, um, to the htc. So thank you for that.
