The meeting was called to order @ 10:02 A.M. by Lynita
Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence was held.
An Agenda was presented from Cheryl suggesting moving public comment period
earlier in the agenda. Cheryl made motion, 2nd by Ronald. All in favor
Minutes from June 1, 2026 meeting presented. Cheryl made motion to adopted
minutes as presented. Ronald 2nd. All in favor.
Public Comment was made by Herman Covey, asking for clarification of 40 foot mark
at the polls. The 40 ft mark is from the entrance of the door in an arc. He also praised the
handling of last election process but did suggest more intensive hands on officer of election
training. Bill Etchison spoke in praise of last training. Ronald mentioned we, DOE/Board/
officers of election cannot fail at election.
FOIA discussion was opened by Cheryl. Cheryl mentioned in her research that a named
FOIA officer should be named. Further research is pending.
