Villa Rica DDA to vote on merging Main Street board into DDA
The Villa Rica Downtown Development Authority meets Monday, September 28, 2026 at 6:15 pm to review its July financial report, approve July 27 minutes, and consider a joint resolution with the Main Street Advisory Board asking the Mayor and City Council to dissolve the Main Street Advisory Board and merge its duties into the DDA. The DDA will also vote on hosting a Main Street 101 State Training Workshop on December 9, 2026. The July 27 minutes show the board approved a land swap and discussed the Market at the Mill, Mill Amphitheater sound and screen, and downtown businesses.
