Planning Commission recommends medical spa for Greenfield Rd.; Council set to weigh in July 20
The Berkley Planning Commission voted 6-0 on July 14 to recommend approval of a special land use request for Sugarcoated, a medical spa proposed at 3462 Greenfield Rd. The commission found the use met all required zoning standards and compatibility criteria. The recommendation now heads to the City Council, which is scheduled to consider the item at its July 20 meeting.
Planning Commission action
The July 14 meeting was the only recent Berkley meeting with official minutes published. Commissioners approved the meeting agenda 6-0 and approved the June 23, 2026, meeting minutes 5-0. The sole substantive vote was the 6-0 recommendation to approve special land use request PSU-01-26 for 3462 Greenfield Rd.
