Borger boards set FY2027 budgets and leases for July votes; outcomes not yet confirmed

City Council (July 21)

The City Council agenda included Resolution R-026-26 to re-appoint Eddie Edwards to the Canadian River Municipal Water Authority Board of Directors. Minutes for this meeting are also not yet published.

TIRZ #1 Board (July 29)

The Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone #1 Board was scheduled to consider amendments to the FY 2026 budget and a recommendation for the FY 2027 budget. The board also had three Downtown Momentum Grant Program applications on the agenda: 500 Deahl St, 510 Deahl St, and 603 N. Main Street. Outcomes are not yet confirmed.

Three City Council sessions are scheduled for August 4, 2026:
