Perryville Board to vote on data center ordinance Aug. 4; July meeting minutes not yet published
Perryville's Board of Aldermen is set to take up final passage of a data center ordinance and acknowledge receipt of a $926,979.12 insurance payment tied to the March 2025 tornado at its Aug. 4 meeting. The agenda also includes final votes on livestock and aquaculture ordinances and several contract and payment approvals.
What happened at the July 21 Board of Aldermen meeting
Minutes have not yet been published for the July 21 Board of Aldermen meeting, so outcomes are not confirmed. According to the agenda, the Board was scheduled to consider a conditional use permit for an 80-bed skilled nursing facility at 1307 Brenda Avenue, a property currently zoned R-4. The applicant is listed as Perryville Real Estate Holdings, LLC.
Other items on the July 21 agenda included:
- Approval of a $72,303.58 invoice from Perry County for the Joint Justice Center cost-share.
- Approval of a $300,000 retainage release to Robinson Industrial and Heavy Contracting for the Wastewater Treatment Facility project.
