Affordable Housing Trust Set to Vote on $785,500 CPA Grant
The Concord Municipal Affordable Housing Trust met July 23 with two significant financial items on its agenda: a vote to authorize a $100,000 progress payment for the Assabet River Homes project and a vote on a $785,500 Community Preservation Act grant agreement tied to Article 26 of the 2026 Town Meeting. The trust also planned to discuss converting two multi-unit properties — 32 Bradford St (18 units) and 63 Cottage Ln (10 units) — to low-income housing, and to review a draft request for proposals for updating the town's Housing Production Plan. School Committee: Bus Contract and Building Bid
The Concord-Carlisle Regional School District's joint school committee met July 29 via Zoom to vote on three items: a bid for the Amenities Building, a bus service agreement with Highland Electric, and a charge for the Culture and Climate Working Group. The working group met separately on July 30 to discuss the Climate and Culture Framework.
