Cortland boards review B&B conversion, demolition, police grants; no decisions yet
Three Cortland boards met in late July and early August to review a range of items, from a proposed bed-and-breakfast conversion to a police grant application. No decisions have been published yet; minutes for all three meetings are pending.
Police Commission (July 29)
The Police Commission met to review department reports and bills. Agenda items included:

Planning Commission (August 3)

- 41 Elm St: Full State Environmental Assessment Review for Roundhouse Mill demolition

Zoning Board of Appeals (August 3)
The Zoning Board of Appeals considered five requests for area variances, including a proposal to convert a home into a bed and breakfast at 87 N. Main St. Other requests:
- 4 Otter Creek Pl.: Variances for a 14’x4’ above-ground pool and unpaved driveway
- 26 Hamlin St.: Variances to enlarge a concrete patio and for front yard parking
- 28 Pearne Ave.: Variance to install a 4’ chain link fence in front and side yards
- 26 Helen Ave.: Variances for a 10’x12’ shed and front yard parking
