Board to consider part-time faculty pay, fund transfers at Aug. 11 meeting
The Glendale Community College District Board of Trustees will vote next week on revised part-time faculty salary tables, fund transfers for two programs, and a construction change order for the Camino Real renovation. No formal decisions were made at the district's three meetings over the past two weeks, which were workshops and agenda-setting sessions.

July 30 – Leadership workshop
The board held a special meeting focused on leadership development, with a workshop led by Dr. Francisco C. Rodriguez. The session covered values-centric leadership and capacity building. No formal decisions or contracts were listed on the agenda.
July 31 – Goals and ethics training
The board met to review 2025-26 goal accomplishments and set new objectives for the upcoming year. The agenda included a board ethics training session and scheduling of board meetings through June 2027. No votes were taken.
Aug. 4 – College Executive Committee

The board will consider several resolutions and contracts at its next regular meeting. Key items include:
- **Resolution 02-2026-2027:** Adopt revised part-time faculty salary tables per the collective bargaining agreement.
- **Resolution 03-2026-2027:** Transfer funds from the Unrestricted General Fund to the Disabled Students Program & Services.
- **Resolution 04-2026-2027:** Transfer funds from the Unrestricted General Fund to Child Development Services.
