DuPage County committees approve $548,784 roof restoration, $344,340 digital forensics contract in busy July session

Public Works and Finance committees clear major contracts

Development Committee grants four zoning relief requests

The Development Committee on July 7 approved four zoning relief petitions, each by a 6-0 vote: a conditional use for open storage at 771 Butterfield Road, LLC; a variation for a house addition setback at DeRose; a driveway expansion side yard setback variation at Prothe; and a rear yard setback variation for a house addition at Starodub. Members also discussed ongoing investigations regarding Four Lakes BaseCamp Pub and a property in Bensenville.

Judicial and Public Safety Committee acts on technology contracts

The Judicial and Public Safety Committee on July 7 approved multiple contracts for the State's Attorney's and Sheriff's offices, including a $65,472.27 contract with Hexordia LLC, a $72,222.23 AT&T contract, a $78,192.01 Life Technologies Corporation contract, and an $87,606.65 VidlSourcing LLC contract.
