Jupiter Inlet Colony Commission to weigh water plan, building code updates
The Jupiter Inlet Colony Town Commission met Aug. 10 with an agenda that included a vote on a new 10-year water supply plan, building code amendments, and a closed session on pending litigation. The commission also heard the town's annual financial report. Minutes from the meeting have not yet been published, so no decisions were confirmed.
Water supply plan and building code
The commission was scheduled to vote on Ordinance 2026-02, which adopts the 2026 Water Supply Plan and amends water-related policies in the town's comprehensive plan. The ordinance updates the Sanitary Sewer, Solid Waste, Stormwater Management, Potable Water and Natural Groundwater Aquifer Recharge Element. In addition, Mauldin & Jenkins presented the annual financial report for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2025.
