County Board of Commissioners — Aug. 18
The Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners’ agenda included several action items:

Planning Commission — Aug. 10

- A proposal by Scott & Rebecca Mueller for a hospitality or event center in an A-2 General Agricultural District. Proposed uses include wedding venues, retreats, arts and entertainment, and a music festival.
Board of Adjustment — Aug. 10
The Board of Adjustment held public hearings on two zoning variance requests:
- Pete’s Surplus Inc. (2598 Hwy 9 NE) — reduce road setback from 130 feet to 85 feet for a fuel pump canopy.
- Melissa Coil Bulman (6882 147th Ave SE) — reduce side yard setback from 10 feet to 2 feet for a shed.
