Coming up
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing Aug. 18 on a zoning text amendment (case ZON26-000003) to repeal and replace Chapter 17.79 of the municipal code, which regulates temporary employee housing. The amendment aligns the ordinance with state mandates and removes restrictive text. Staff recommends the commission adopt Resolution 2026-359 recommending City Council approval and determining the action is exempt from CEQA under Section 15061(b)(3). The project location is described as certain properties along First Street and citywide. The meeting will also include approval of the June 16, 2026, meeting minutes.
