Russellville boards review airport fuel sales, zoning, variances; no decisions recorded
No decisions were recorded at three Russellville board meetings held in late July and early August. The Airport Commission, Planning Commission, and Board of Adjustment each met on agendas that included airport fuel sales and hangar occupancy, a large-scale development proposal, rezoning requests, and two variance applications.
Airport Commission (July 28)
The Airport Advisory Commission received the manager's report, which included June fuel sales: 6,604 gallons of Jet-A ($33,864.29) and 3,681.16 gallons of AVGAS ($21,296.57). Accounts receivable aging showed $17,290.43 in the 0–30 day category, $13,066.68 in 31–60 days, $3,128.91 in 61–90 days, and $0 over 90 days. Hangar occupancy was reported at 100% for enclosed and private hangars, and 65% for shade hangars, with a waiting list of 31 aircraft. Old business included an update on the KRUE project. No votes or decisions were recorded; the agenda was primarily informational.
Planning Commission (Aug. 6)
The Planning Commission's agenda included a large-scale development proposal at 89 SR 331, a vacation of the S Utica Ave right-of-way between 2008 and 2120 W 2nd Street, rezoning of 150 S Tulsa Ave from R-1 to C-4, rezoning of 2802 W Main St from R-2 to C-2, and a proposed amendment to the Russellville Zoning Code. Board of Adjustment (Aug. 6)
The Board of Adjustment reviewed two variance requests: one for signage height and width at 303 W Main Street (VARI-0726-000799) and one for parking space dimensions at 211 E Harrell Dr (VARI-0726-000800).
