Glenville Planning Commission approves site plans for Lawn Doctor and Holy Crepe!; Town Board to weigh police project bids
Planning Commission conditionally approves three site plans
The Glenville Planning & Zoning Commission conditionally approved final site plans for two businesses at its July 13 meeting, the only recent meeting with published minutes.
The commission voted 7-0 to conditionally approve the final site plan for Lawn Doctor (M Zone Lawns, LLC). It also voted 7-0 to conditionally approve both the preliminary and final site plans for Audrey Daniels (Holy Crepe!).
The commission approved its meeting agenda unanimously, 7-0. Minutes from the February 9, 2026 meeting were approved 4-0 with three abstentions, and minutes from the June 8, 2026 meeting were approved 5-0 with two abstentions.
Town Board work session covered 2027 budget, moratorium, road ordinance
The Glenville Town Board held a work session on July 8 to discuss the proposed 2027 budget. Members also considered extending the existing battery storage moratorium and reviewed a street and roadway ordinance.
Minutes from this meeting have not yet been published, so outcomes of those discussions are not yet on the record.
Town Board agenda includes police project bid rejection and zoning appointment
The Town Board's July 15 meeting agenda listed four resolutions for consideration:
- **Resolution 114-2026:** Rejecting all bids for the Glenville Police Addition and Renovation Project.
- **Resolution 115-2026:** Establishing standard work days for elected officials per the Office of the New York State Comptroller.
- **Resolution 116-2026:** Appointing Francis James Murphy of 1734 North Road to the Glenville Zoning Board of Appeals.
- **Resolution 117-2026:** Participating in a joint grant application for the 2026 Smart Growth Community Planning Grant Program with the Village of Scotia and Schenectady County.
