Delta boards weigh rezoning, subdivision, and $426K in payments
The Delta City Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council met in the past two weeks to consider rezoning requests, a subdivision plat, and a $426,706.03 payment approval. Minutes have not yet been published, so no decisions are reported.
Planning and Zoning Commission (Aug. 12)
The commission held a public hearing on a rezoning request by Scott Harmon with Utah Housing Corporation, to change several parcels in the Meadow Park Subdivision area from Single Family Residential Medium Density (R-1-B) to Single and Two-Family Residential (R-2). Affected parcels include D-MP-1 through D-MP-10 (around 450 S. 320 W.) and D-4232-3, D-4233-2, and DO-4233-2.
The commission also held a public hearing on a rezoning request by Reynaldo and Hector Sandoval for 87 South 300 East, from Commercial Business (C-B) to Single and Two-Family Residential (R-2). That hearing began at 6:50 PM.
In addition, the commission was scheduled to review a preliminary subdivision plat by the Sandoval, discuss a Pioneering Agreement and Impact Fees, and update city code on exactions. The meeting was held at the Delta City Municipal Complex Council Chambers, 76 N 200 W, and could be conducted electronically per UCA §52-4-207.
City Council (Aug. 19)
The council met to consider Ordinance 26-341, an amendment to the zoning map related to the Sandoval zone change. It also considered personnel policy updates, an amendment to the annexation policy, and a presentation on R6 and Governor's Office of Planning & Budgets priorities.
The council was scheduled to approve accounts payable, payroll, and electronic disbursements totaling $426,706.03.
