Brighton Council adopts fee schedule, fire restrictions; planning panel weighs building codes

Council adopts fee schedule, fire restrictions
The council adopted two ordinances at its August 11 meeting, as stated in an August 13 notice:
- **Ordinance 2026-O-8-1** establishes the 2026-2027 fiscal year fee schedule.
- **Ordinance 2026-O-8-2** amends Title 9, Chapter 90, which covers fire restrictions in wildland-suburban interface areas. The ordinance also delegates authority to the mayor to implement, modify, and rescind such restrictions.
