Spanish Fork certifies 18.76-acre annexation petition; City Council to weigh $3M airport grant next week
Spanish Fork City has certified a petition to annex 18.76 acres of property owned by Ray's Valley Development LLC, located at approximately 2200 North 800 East. The city may grant the petition unless a written protest is filed with the Utah County Boundary Commission by August 28, 2026.
The certification was the most consequential action taken in the past two weeks, as most other meetings on the city's calendar were agenda-only with minutes not yet published.
Annexation Petition Certified
The public notice identified three parcels included in the annexation: #26:050:0074, #26:050:0071, and #26:051:0136. Under the process, the city may grant the annexation unless a written protest reaches the Utah County Boundary Commission by the August 28 deadline. No further details on the intended use of the property were included in the notice.
