On July 28, 2026, the City Council held a special business meeting that included an agenda item to authorize the administration to execute a Real Estate Purchase Contract for a city-owned property at 508 W. 2700 S. The same meeting agenda listed a potential closed executive session for legal or personnel discussions. Without published minutes, the outcome of the property purchase authorization is not yet confirmed.
Also on July 28, the Council held a work session covering several proposed municipal code amendments and planning items. Agenda topics included:
