Town Council — July 20
The Town Council agenda listed votes and discussions on several items, including a change of hours for an alcoholic beverages license at Life Love Cheese, LLC, 184 Water Street; an update on the Housing Trust and Housing Production Plan; and an inter-municipal agreement for a Regional Health and Human Services Department. The agenda also included review of public comments on a picnic table request for Col Connelly Park, annual policy reviews covering streetlight requests and Complete Streets, and appointments to the Human Rights Commission, Youth Council, and Animal Control Officer Jenna MacMillan. No minutes are available yet, so it is not known which items were approved.
Conservation Commission — July 21
The Conservation Commission scheduled votes and hearings on wetland-related matters. The agenda included a continued public hearing for DEP#313-652, a 22,900-square-foot self-storage facility at 50 Quannapowitt Parkway proposed by Pack Self Storage of Wakefield LLC; a public hearing for DEP#313-658 covering a garage addition and deck at 131 Montrose Avenue by Rony Mendez; a vote on an enforcement order at 10 Fourth Street; a vote on proposed artificial turf at 11 King Street (DEP#313-657); and a wetland bylaw discussion.
Housing Trust — July 21

Human Rights Commission — July 21
The Human Rights Commission was set to approve June minutes and receive a financial report, plus review recent community activities: the Juneteenth event, Town Day, and the Cultures of Wakefield Festival.
School Committee — July 21
The School Committee's 7:00 p.m. open session included public comment, approval of prior minutes, and superintendent's remarks covering facilities updates at Greenwood PreK, Greenwood A/C, and WMHS new construction, plus summer program and HR updates. Subcommittee reports were listed for Finance & Facilities (Tom Markham) and Labor & Personnel (Stephen Ingalls). No budget items were on the agenda. Advisory Board of Public Works — July 22

Housing Authority — July 22
The Housing Authority had two agenda items of note. The Working Group Subcommittee agenda included approval of July 9 minutes, a construction update covering Phase 2 temporary traffic markings and wayfinding signage, discussion of Level 3 fast EV chargers, review of seating options at Beasley Oval, and a Wiley Street Gate discussion.
Finance Committee — July 24
The Nominating Subcommittee agenda contained only procedural items: call to order, attendance, discussion on nominations for chair and vice chair, and adjournment.
