Board of Elections
The Board unanimously approved the agenda and prior meeting minutes. It appointed five members to the Vote Review and Ballot Duplication Panels. The Board set advance voting dates, times and locations for the November 5, 2023 general election and approved resolutions to publish proposed precinct and polling‑place changes. An executive‑session was held to discuss a confidential document, and the meeting was adjourned.

Athens Cultural Affairs Commission
The commission conducted orientation presentations covering BAC training and the public art process. Members reviewed FY24 goals including the Public Art Master Plan update, maintenance, professional development, and the spending plan. No substantive votes were taken other than to adjourn.

Planning Commission
The Commission recommended approval for rezoning requests at Macon Highway, Talley Crossing/Hull Rd, and Atlanta Highway/Bedgood Road. It also approved a conditional alternative compliance request for 197 West Broad Street and tabled a master planned development request for North Avenue.

Audit Committee
