SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION

The Berkeley County Schools Board of Education discussed and voted on opioid litigation matters. The board opted out of being a plaintiff in the McKinsey settlement and retained Bailey & Glasser LLP to represent the district in the Opioid Mass Action Lawsuit and other opioid settlements. The board also discussed pending civil actions (19-CV-89, 19-C-231, 22-C-100) in executive session.
