Bismarck Parking Authority

The Special Assessment Task Force approved its prior meeting minutes and heard a presentation from developer David Witham on a possible fee structure based on lot size and a mathematical equation rather than set tiers. Several members said the approach was easier to understand and preferable to earlier proposals, though concerns were raised about the formula's complexity and explaining it to voters. The general consensus was that before the next meeting, Kevin Strege's method and Witham's should be discussed for possible combination and presentation to the task force. City Engineer Gabe Schell also gave an overview of political subdivision fees, noting Bismarck Parks and Recreation and Bismarck Public Schools can currently use mil levies for special assessments but would need general fund money if switched to a fee; he said he is still working with the bond advisor on a solution.

Renaissance Zone Authority

Bismarck Parking Authority

CenCom

The Central Dakota Communications Center (CenCom) Board of Directors will hold a special virtual meeting on August 12, 2021, at 2:00 PM. Special Assessment Task Force
