Heritage Preservation Commission
The Heritage Preservation Commission will discuss and potentially approve a transition of the Discover Waseca tourism app from the City to Waseca County to ensure its continued availability. Commissioners will also consider changing their monthly meeting date from the first to the third or fourth Monday to ease staff scheduling. The commission will review and authorize the 2024 Certified Local Government compliance form to be submitted to the State Historic Preservation Office. Additionally, staff will provide updates on several projects including partial building collapse repairs at 113-115 State Street South, new ownership of the American Hotel, and new downtown historic signs.
