County Commissioners

The Converse County Commissioners approved an amended Raceway Lease Agreement with Central WY Motorsports for June 1 to Sept. 30, 2021, and ratified the WY DEQ permit for CCJJC Phase 2 construction. They also approved monthly reports for Public Health and Sheriff, and agreed to provide gravel to the Rural Fire Hall. No votes were recorded for these actions, but all motions carried.

County Planning and Zoning Board
The Converse County Planning and Zoning Commission will meet via Zoom to review two minor subdivision requests: a new application from K&J and an update on the Sage Park subdivision. The board will also approve minutes from the November 17, 2020 meeting. No public hearings are scheduled.

Municipal & County Joint Powers Board
The Converse County Municipal and County Joint Powers Board will hold a regular meeting to review updates from the Fire Suppression Authority, including its annual financial and compliance audit and a report to the State Auditor, and to ratify a Motorola equipment purchase for E-911. The board will also hear updates from other entities, including the Public Health Department, Tourism Promotion Board, Joint Justice Center, and CARES Act funding. Additionally, the board will elect officers for the term January 20, 2021 through January 19, 2022.
