GOVERNING BOARD STUDY SESSION

The Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District #6 Governing Board may have a quorum present at several events between December 16 and 19, 2024, including the swearing-in of the Yavapai County School Superintendent Elect, a Sodexo Appreciation Dinner, a school holiday program, and a student performance. REGULAR GOVERNING BOARD MEETING
The Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District Governing Board will discuss and possibly vote on extending Wednesday early release by roughly one hour for the rest of the school year. The board will also consider approving a revised $16 million budget that reflects updated enrollment and carryover funds. Other action items include swearing in newly elected board members and approving consent agenda items like vouchers, new hires, and donations.

The Superintendent's Advisory Committee will discuss and review proposals for staff longevity pay tiers, including three options with different service-year thresholds and amounts. They will also discuss Project Momentum as it relates to planning time, with an update on Governing Board conversations.
