Planning & Zoning Commission

The Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing and consider approval of a preliminary plat for Trinity Ranch Phase 1, a 483-lot subdivision on 106.42 acres near Upper Elgin River Road. The consent agenda includes approval of the December 21, 2020 minutes. Public comments are limited to three minutes for non-agenda items.

The Elgin Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved the preliminary plat for Trinity Ranch Phase 1, planning 483 lots across 106.42 acres near Upper Elgin River Road. The approval requires that the City, Bastrop County, and TxDOT approve the project's Traffic Impact Analysis. Commissioners also approved the meeting minutes from December 21, 2020.

Main Street Board

The Elgin Main Street Advisory Board is holding its regular business meeting. The board will discuss filling the Main Street Manager position, review the 2021 meeting schedule, consider grant applications, and review the 2020-2021 budget. Other items include waste service collection options, a traffic and sales accelerator proposal, a social media plan, and parking updates.
