The Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing regarding a zoning map amendment and rezoning request. The body will also consider several contracts for park improvements and government facility restoration.

The Lee County Board of Commissioners will organize for the new year by electing a Chair and Vice Chair. The agenda includes approving contracts with LabCorp and a state consolidated agreement, as well as a public hearing for a community development corporation. The board will also consider a speed reduction resolution for Avents Ferry Road.

The commissioners will vote on a contract to repair the Lee County Historic Courthouse and adopt a policy banning pornography on government networks. They will also hear a zoning map amendment request and consider extending a $200,000 loan for Brick Capital Community Development Corporation. Additional items include a FY 2024 financial statement presentation and routine reports.
