The Highland City Council voted 5:0 to annex 4.246 acres known as Highland Blvd into city boundaries and 5:0 to adopt FY2022 mid-year budget adjustments. The council also voted 5:0 to continue the Maddox Subdivision final plat to obtain an opinion from the State Property Rights Ombudsman, and 5:0 to approve design Option #3 for Highland Glen Pond shoreline trail improvements. Several items were discussion-only, including sanitary sewer upgrades in the Country Club and Dry Creek neighborhoods and the pressurized irrigation meter project.

City Council

The Highland City Council will hold a regular session with a closed session first, then consider several administrative actions including a plat amendment, a public defender contract, resolutions on asphalt tailings and orphan parcels, a bid award for drainage reconstruction, an easement vacation, an irrigation agreement, and council assignments. They will also discuss a draft interlocal agreement for the North County Equestrian Park.

Arts Council

The Highland Arts Council is meeting to discuss the director's report on December events, review its website and social media presence, and consider more efficient accounting for art classes. They will also plan participation in the Spring Fling event. The meeting includes a new board member, Carol Hadlock.
