Public Infrastructure Committee

Room Tax Commission

The Room Tax Commission approved a request for a matching Wisconsin Main Street Place Makeover Contest Grant of up to $5,000 for the Craft Creek Brewing project, contingent on the grant being awarded. The commission also went into closed session to discuss negotiations with the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau, but took no action and designated Reilly to continue negotiations. Library Board

The Manitowoc Public Library Board will consider approving the 2025 budget and updating the Meeting Room Policy. Plan Commission

The Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on a petition to rezone a property at the northwest corner of Woodland Drive and Memorial Drive from C-1 Commercial to R-6 Multiple Family and from R-4 Single and Two Family Residential to C-1 Commercial. The commission will also conduct the annual review of a conditional use permit for Lotus Recovery Homes, a transitional housing facility at 419 Park Street. The project includes a gas station, convenience store, restaurant, and multifamily housing. The recommendation will be referred to the City Council for final action. The commission also approved the annual review of Lotus Recovery Homes' conditional use permit for transitional housing at 419 Park Street, revising the review date to January 2026.

Finance Committee
