Frank L. Weyenberg Library Board of Trustees

The Frank L. Weyenberg Library Board of Trustees will vote on the 2023 library budget, discuss contracts for AT&T Office@Hand and RFID security gates/entrance remodel, and consider a wage adjustment for the director in closed session. Joint Mequon-Thiensville Bike and Pedestrian Way Commission

Public Safety Committee

The Public Safety Committee will review and recommend approval of a resolution authorizing a vehicle usage agreement between Mequon, Thiensville, and the Southern Ozaukee Fire & EMS Department for fiscal year 2023. The agreement allows the merged department to use each community's emergency vehicles until titles are transferred, with no lease or rental payments. The committee will also approve minutes from the October 11, 2022 meeting.

Public Welfare Committee

The Public Welfare Committee will review and recommend approval of two ordinances: one amending electronic attendance rules for city meetings, and another updating the nuisance ordinance. Committee of the Whole

They will also consider a $151,140 contract to Bloom Companies to inspect the clean-out installation and sewer lateral rehabilitation. Southern Ozaukee Fire Department Board

The Board is meeting to swear in the Fire Chief and discuss merger action items to be completed by January 1, 2023. Frank L. Weyenberg Library Board of Trustees

The Frank L. Weyenberg Library Board of Trustees will meet to discuss Covid-19 protocols and approve administration job descriptions. The board is also seeking action on transferring ARPA funds to the operating budget and a five-year service agreement with Milwaukee Alarm Company.

Planning Commission

The Ad Hoc Port Washington Road Design Standards Committee is reviewing a draft Statement of Qualifications to hire a design consultant for streetscape improvements. The body is also reviewing 2018 architectural gallery data to help develop design standards for the corridor.

The Joint Mequon-Thiensville Bike and Pedestrian Way Commission will meet to discuss the 2022 work plan. The body is also scheduled to discuss and take action on updating the 2010-2030 recommendations.

Mequon Municipal Water Utility Commission

The Commission is reviewing a request from the Village of River Hills to provide municipal water service for a proposed development of 51 single-family homes. Staff is seeking feedback on what additional data or analysis is needed before deciding whether to apply to the Public Service Commission to serve the neighboring municipality.

Sewer Utility District Commission

The Sewer Utility District Commission is reviewing a proposal to update the sanitary sewer hydraulic model for the East Trunk System north of Mequon Road. This work aims to evaluate capacity and wet weather flow management to inform the 2023 budget for capital improvements.

Public Welfare Committee

Committee of the Whole

Finance-Personnel Committee

The Finance-Personnel Committee will meet to approve meeting minutes and review the December 2021 voucher approval list. The committee will also discuss the Finance & Personnel Work Plan.

Common Council

The Common Council is holding a public hearing and considering a rezoning request for a 14.79-acre property to allow a seven-lot residential subdivision called The Green at Mequon. The body is also reviewing ordinances regarding fire department benefits and street signs, as well as several city contracts.
