• Planning, Design, and Implementation of Community-based Green Infrastructure (Contract G98011P01)

The Operations Committee approved all five new business items, including purchase orders for repairs at Jones Island and South Shore water reclamation facilities, change orders for green infrastructure and inflow/infiltration projects, and a contract for community-based green infrastructure. All approvals were by voice vote, with most unanimous. The committee also received reports on the Jones Island storm surge and Lake Michigan lake levels.

• Approved contract for planning, design, and implementation of community-based green infrastructure (unanimous voice vote)

Policy, Finance & Personnel Committee

The Policy, Finance & Personnel Committee approved a four-year contract with Xerox for copy, printing, and scanning services, extended a contract with Kinder Morgan Terminals and approved a new contract with Spring Valley for Milorganite packaging, and approved a change order for on-call architectural and engineering services. All votes were by voice vote and carried. The committee also met in closed session to discuss a federal lawsuit and adjourned at 11:14 a.m.
