Planning & Zoning Commission

The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a use variation request for a tattoo shop (Hidden Door Tattoo Studio) at 143 North Seymour Avenue, which is in the C-5-R Downtown Residential zoning district. Beautification Committee

The committee approved the February 20, 2024 minutes (6-0) and adjourned (6-0). They discussed collaborations with WildOnes and the Arts Commission, planned for the Spring Into Summer and A-May-Zing Mundelein events, and assigned tasks for the Mayor's Monarch Pledge. No formal votes were taken on these items.

Board of Trustees

The Old #1 Fire Truck Preservation Committee is meeting to approve prior minutes, hear the treasurer's report, and discuss 2024 plans. New business includes a scholarship update, inventory of handouts, and a list of maintenance projects for the fire truck, plus event planning for the year.

Board of Trustees

The Mundelein Board of Trustees will hold its regular meeting on March 11, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the Village Hall Board Room. Additionally, the board will vote on purchasing two new police squad cars for $111,181.20.

Board of Fire and Police Commission
