Board of Supervisors
The Board of Supervisors approved several real estate transfers to the cities of Altoona and Urbandale and authorized various community and environmental grants. The board also approved a series of personnel appointments and tax credit recommendations from the County Assessor.

Board of Health Advisory Committee
The committee did not have enough members present to reach a quorum, preventing the approval of previous minutes. The meeting consisted of staff updates regarding gun safety, DOT videos, and disease prevention trends.
Veteran Affairs Commission
The Commission approved claims for July, including $68,500 for grave maintenance in the City of Des Moines. Members elected Marty Smith as Chair and Vikki Domina as Secretary for the 2023/24 fiscal year. The board also ratified 22 exception reports for shelter, food, and utilities.
