Special - Real Estate Tax Refund for Surplus Revenue & Updated Contract with Cou
The Board of Supervisors is adopting an ordinance to return $500,000 in surplus real estate tax revenue to taxpayers for FY2023, using a one-time credit of 5 cents per $100 of assessed value on qualified properties. The surplus comes from the Randolph Solar Siting Agreement and was received in September 2022. The credit will be applied to the December 5, 2022 and June 5, 2023 billing installments.
