Council

The Kokomo Common Council voted to adopt several zoning changes for the 250 S 75 E property, including rezoning from low‑intensity industrial to medium‑density residential (Ordinance #7145) and then to a planned‑development district (Ordinance #7146). The council also adopted Ordinance #7154 amending the city zoning ordinance to create the Melody Farms Planned Development District. In addition, the council passed Ordinance #7142 to vacate a platted easement and approved resolutions authorizing a federal transit assistance filing and a transfer of General Fund money.
