The Select Board awarded the General Contractor contract for the Senior Center Project to Page Building Construction Inc. for $4,930,000, the lowest of seven bids, after discussion of the company's record. The board also appointed Deputy Chief Thomas Corbo as Interim Fire Chief, effective upon Chief Hocking's retirement, and hired Chief Hocking as a consultant. A $5,000 donation from the Copeland Family Foundation for the DARE program was accepted with a 2-0 vote (Rohland abstained due to technical issues).
