Environmental, Forestry, & Sustainability Commission

The Winnetka Environmental and Forestry Commission will discuss endorsing the 2021 Climate Action Plan for the Chicago Region and integrating climate goals into the 2040 Comprehensive Plan. Village Council

The Winnetka Village Council is holding a virtual study session to review the final design for the Phase 4 Streetscape project, which includes improvements to Chestnut Court, Chestnut Street, Oak Street, Elm Street, and Spruce Street, as well as the Village Hall parking lot. Staff will present the design and request the Council's concurrence to waive bidding requirements and negotiate a construction contract with ALamp Concrete, Inc. The project is budgeted at $3,065,530 in the FY 2022 Budget, and staff recommends starting construction in mid-March 2022.

Zoning Board of Appeals

The Winnetka Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a virtual meeting on January 10, 2022, to consider zoning variation requests for a single-story home addition at 335 Sheridan Road and a new four-unit residential building at 455 Linden Street. The Board will also review and approve minutes from its December 13, 2021, meeting, where members previously recommended approval for a home addition at 2 Golf Lane and a church playground at 784 Sheridan Road.

Village Council
