Chairman Myer called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

A motion to approve the minutes of the June 15, 2026, Committee Meeting was made by
Councilor Plunkett and seconded by Councilor FitzGibbons. Minutes were approved
unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. The Zoning and Planning Office received a request for Use of Public Space from
Mr. Craig Gilkey, owner of a professional building located at 157 West Bridge
Street, to replace an existing sidewalk.
Councilor Myer noted that Zoning and Planning Administrator, Jeff McGann, was not present.
Councilor Myer reported having inspected the property and stated that the existing sidewalk
currently extends from West Bridge Street only partway along the property. The request is to
extend the sidewalk to Cayuga Street. Councilor Myer added that, during a conversation with
Jeff McGann, he had discussed the proposal with Director of Code Enforcement, Michael
Cleary II, and neither anticipated any issues with the requested sidewalk extension.
