Adams County Commissioners Set Vote on Fair Fund Transfer; Bridge Replacement Bids Open This Week
Adams County Commissioners are scheduled to vote July 21 on a resolution transferring money from the Current Expense Fund #001 to the Adams County Fair Fund #108, the most consequential financial action on the upcoming agenda. A bid opening for the Bridge #411-3 Sackman Road Bridge Replacement Project (CRP-201) follows on July 22.
Recent Meetings: Agendas Posted, Minutes Not Yet Published
Five county meetings were held between July 7 and July 15, but minutes have not yet been published for any of them. What follows is based on the agendas only; the county has not confirmed which items were acted on or how any votes went.
July 7 — Commissioners. The agenda included a bid opening for the High Volume Corridors Intersections Project (CRP-204), the appointment of Keith Russell to Adams County Weed District #1, approval of June 1–15, 2026 payroll and benefits, and a closed session under RCW 42.30.140(4)(b) regarding negotiations or grievances.
July 8 — Board of Health. The Board of Health met at the Public Works Conference Room, 210 W Alder, Ritzville, WA 99344. The agenda listed approval of June 10, 2026 minutes, a public comment period, board discussion and decision items, and an executive session.
July 8 — Commissioners. Staff-led discussions were scheduled with Sandi Duffey (Emergency Management), Andie Lorenz (Building and Planning), Alex Igbinoba (Central Services), and Cory Stolsig (Geographic Information Systems). No specific actions were listed. The agenda noted the Board of Health meeting was suspended until the conclusion of the Board of Health meeting.
July 14 — Commissioners. The agenda listed Resolution No. R-029-2026, adopting the Adams County Homeless Housing Task Force Bylaws, along with approval of June 16–30, 2026 payroll and benefits, approval of vouchers, and discussion items for Human Resources and Public Works.
July 15 — Commissioners. The only substantive discussion item listed was a board discussion with John Culton of Capitol Path Consulting. The agenda also included approval of the agenda as an action item.

July 21 — Commissioners. The board will vote on Resolution No. R-030-2026, transferring funds from Current Expense Fund #001 to Adams County Fair Fund #108. The meeting also includes approval of June 23 and June 24, 2026 preliminary minutes, approval of vouchers, and discussion items for Human Resources and Public Works.
