Butts County board to set 2026 millage rate after public hearings
The Butts County Board of Commissioners held public hearings this week on three zoning requests and the proposed 2026 county millage rate. Zoning requests
The board's Aug. 10 agenda included a public hearing on three requests by Brad Vaughan: a temporary RV occupancy, a variance to reduce the rear building setback from 50 to 45 feet, and another rear yard setback variance. Today, Aug. 17, the Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing and then vote to adopt the 2026 County Maintenance and Operations millage and the total millage rate.
