Town Council Files Land Use Update, Proclaims Disability Pride Month

Chapel Hill’s Town Council received and filed an update to the Land Use Management Ordinance without discussion and approved a proclamation honoring Disability Pride Month during its June 22 meeting, the only substantive decisions recorded in the past two weeks. Other boards met but have not yet published minutes.

Town Council actions

At its June 22 regular meeting, the council received the LUMO update, which was presented as an information item. No vote was taken and no council member comments appear in the official minutes. The update was simply filed.

Council members also adopted, through the consent agenda, a proclamation recognizing July as Disability Pride Month. No separate vote tally was recorded.

A separate Town Council information packet released on June 30 contained a Language Access Plan update. That item was for council awareness only, with no discussion or action scheduled.
