Water and Sewer Board Considers Meter Contract Change, Easements
The Water and Sewer Board met July 14 to discuss recommending a contract change order for Core & Main to accept 700 meters valued at $197,102.75 as part of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure Program. The board also reviewed two easement agreements for the City Ditch Piping Project: a $10 temporary construction access easement with St. Mary's Catholic Church and a $10 temporary construction staging easement with Littleton Cemetery Association. City Council Study Session: Broken Tee Drainage, City Manager Retirement
Council held a special study session July 13 to receive updates on the completed Drainage & Soil Remediation Project at Broken Tee Golf Course, with the Front 9 having reopened May 8. Transportation Advisory Committee Reviews $7.09M Rail Trail Project
The Englewood Transportation Advisory Committee met July 16 to review several projects. The Rail Trail from Oxford Ped Bridge to Kenyon carries an estimated $508,597 for design, $7.09 million for construction, and $1.8 million for right-of-way acquisition. The East Dartmouth roundabout project is projected to cost $2.4 million with construction starting winter 2026. The committee also reviewed Colorado HB26-1318, a school-zone bill expanding boundaries and automated enforcement, and planned a traffic count at the University and Floyd intersection for late August with an update to the committee in October. A City Council study session on the Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program is scheduled for July 27.

The Liquor and Marijuana Licensing Authority was set to consider a Hotel/Restaurant Liquor License application for Mateos Mexican Restaurant dba Garibaldi Mexican Bistro at 3298 S. Broadway Unit B.
