Evansdale council to weigh e-bike ordinance, skid steer purchase
Evansdale city officials have a full slate of meetings this week. The City Council is scheduled to consider an e-bike ordinance and a skid steer purchase, while the Library Board will review 3D printer proposals. City Council (Aug. 4)
The council agenda includes several items for discussion and possible action:
- **E-bike ordinance:** A new ordinance governing electric bicycles is up for consideration.
- **Skid steer purchase:** The council will discuss buying a skid steer, with three quotes ranging from $87,900 to $102,000.
- **Propane agreement:** Approval of a FY27 propane purchase agreement with Consolidated Energy for $1,771.
- **Service hours:** Approval of 30 service hours with Air Services for $2,500.

LMI Planning Committee (July 27)
The committee met to consider a price increase on an already-approved window project, review a previously approved roofing bid, and discuss current applications submitted through INRCOG. Planning & Zoning Commission (July 28)
The commission cancelled its July 28 meeting due to lack of business. No items were scheduled.
