Fishers boards met on grants, utility contracts, and fund transfers; minutes not yet published
Fishers' Redevelopment Commission, Board of Public Works and Safety, and Finance Committee all met in the past two weeks, but minutes have not yet been published for any of the sessions, so vote outcomes and final decisions are not available. The agendas show the bodies were scheduled to act on neighborhood vibrancy grants, utility contracts, professional services agreements, and fund transfers.
Redevelopment Commission — July 8
The commission was scheduled to consider two Professional Services Agreements — one with Structurepoint and one with Buckinghham. The consent agenda included claims for July 8, 2026, and approval of minutes from June 16, 2026. Minutes have not been published.
Board of Public Works and Safety — July 14
The board had a full slate of resolutions. The most notable was R071426, a request to approve the 2026 Neighborhood Vibrancy Grants. Also on the agenda: contracts with Fredericks, Inc. for restroom utilities at the Fishers Sports Complex (R071426A) and Fishers High School Plateau Fields (R071426B); a road cut on 96th Street for a water service connection by Citizens Water (R071426D); and sanitary sewer agreements for Hyde Park Phase 3 (R071426E and R071426G). The consent agenda included previous meeting minutes and the accounts payable register. Minutes have not been published.
Finance Committee — July 15
The committee was set to review and possibly approve Resolution R072026, which would authorize the City Controller to transfer certain funds. Members were also expected to discuss the 2027 Budget Timeline and approve minutes from the June 15, 2026 meeting. Minutes have not been published.
