Ashwaubenon committee recommends denying Class B liquor license for District Pour Haus; sign request approved
The Ashwaubenon Public Works & Protection Committee unanimously recommended denying a Class B liquor license for District Pour Haus, LLC, citing the need to preserve the village's only available slot for a larger future business. The recommendation will go before the full Village Board on July 28, 2026.
Liquor license and other licensing actions
At its July 8 meeting, the Public Works & Protection Committee took up three licensing matters. Members voted unanimously to recommend denial of the Class B liquor license for District Pour Haus to keep the village's sole remaining license slot open. The committee also unanimously recommended approval of Marina Goeben's operator license appeal, which will likewise go to the Village Board for final action. The committee unanimously denied Nu Spa's massage establishment license application. Members approved the June 2 committee minutes unanimously.
District Pour Haus wall sign approved
District Pour Haus, located at 686 Mike McCarthy Way, received unanimous approval from both the Site Plan Review Committee on July 7 and the Plan Commission on July 8 for a third wall sign with upward directed lighting. The Plan Commission also unanimously approved the July 7 agenda, the June 2 Plan Commission minutes, and adjourned at 5:35 p.m.
Site Plan Review Committee approves two additional projects
On July 7, the Site Plan Review Committee unanimously approved exterior improvements to Best Built Inc. at 3100 Holmgren Way, subject to specific building conditions. The committee also unanimously approved plans for a small accessory storage structure at 840 Willard Drive under size and placement rules. June 2 meeting minutes were approved unanimously.
Bicycle & Pedestrian Committee considers crosswalk
The Bicycle & Pedestrian Committee met July 8 and was scheduled to consider engineering services and construction costs for a new crosswalk on the east leg of the San Luis and Cormier intersection. The agenda also included discussion of future bicycle and pedestrian capital improvement projects, an update on communication and education strategies regarding electric bicycles, and action on the May 11 meeting minutes. Minutes from this meeting have not yet been published. A subsequent meeting on July 14 listed the same crosswalk and capital project items for further discussion.
Finance & Personnel Committee reviews organizational structure
On July 15, the Finance & Personnel Committee was scheduled to review proposed changes to the Village of Ashwaubenon's organizational and functional structure, a revised position description for the Paralegal/Administrative Analyst, and the June 2026 financial reports. Minutes have not yet been published.
Other July 15 meetings
The Site Plan Review Committee was scheduled to consider a site plan review request for an equipment enclosure and platform for Pioneer Metal Finishing at 486 Globe Avenue, Parcel VA-154-12. The Green Bay Area Room Tax Commission was scheduled to review monthly tax collection reports, hear municipal updates on room tax collections, receive a Discover Green Bay report by Brad Toll, and act on April 22 meeting minutes. Minutes for both meetings are not yet published.
