Larimer County commissioners approve three Public Improvement Districts for November ballot
Larimer County commissioners approved petitions for three proposed Public Improvement Districts to be referred to the November ballot, setting up votes on road improvement funding for three subdivisions.
Public Improvement Districts approved for November ballot
On July 7, the Board of County Commissioners approved petitions for Stanley Heights PID No. 81, Terry Point PID No. 85, and Colland Center PID No. 82. Each petition passed 2-0. Residents within these boundaries will vote on the formation of the districts during the November election.
The proposed mill levies and expected revenues, outlined in a July 6 public hearing, are:
- Stanley Heights PID No. 81: mill levy 13.791, expected $48,000 in year one, about $960 per lot (Resolution No. 07062026R001)
- Terry Point PID No. 85: mill levy 26.970, expected $139,000 in year one, about $1,350 per lot (Resolution No. 07062026R002)
- Colland Center PID No. 82: mill levy 22.942, expected $182,000 in year one, about $989 per lot (Resolution No. 07062026R003)
Rodeo Board sets 2027 dates
The Rodeo Board approved giving the Queens committee four tickets per performance for their silent auction and 40 tickets for radio giveaways. The board declined a request to move the 2027 rodeo dates, which remain August 8–10. The board allowed the use of the word "PRCA" on special beer labeling but prohibited the logo.

Several county boards met to discuss items without final decisions:
- **Board of County Commissioners (July 7):** Reviewed 40 tax abatement and refund petitions, mostly proposals to uphold the Assessor's property valuations for the 2024 and 2025 tax years.
